About FASIC

Forum for Area Studies and Information Center (FASIC)

FASIC is an organization formed to provide a forum for studies on the Central Asian region in general and Afghanistan in particular. It will also provide information on Central Asia and Afghanistan . The office is based at Peshawar Pakistan .

Aims/Objectives:

  • Provide a forum for studies on the region.
  • Through an internet portal provide opportunities to users so as to comment on the general situation Obtaining in the region.
  • Carryout online discussion on the subject /issues confronting the region.
  • Provide information on Afghanistan in brief and concise manner. Details can however be made available to those desiring the same.
  • Provide latest information on the subject through views, news and reviews.

Head of organization:

The person heading the organization has been on a senior diplomatic assignment to Afghanistan for over three years and has a vast experience on the country particularly as it emerged from the Taliban rule to become a member of the International community.
